How Much is Too Much?

So, I've been wanting to make myself a Koigu wrap...something larger than Charlotte's Web, something you could really cuddle up in.  I've been thinking about the Koigu Keepsake Shawl, but after reading the pattern, I'm not sure I can decipher it.  I then saw Ivete's Tromonto Shawl on Chiagu.com, and thought, BINGO!  It's a perfect fit, lots of Koigu, not too hard of a pattern, great size.   So, off to the Koigu stash I go:

Yikes!  That's a lot of Koigu!  I wonder how many skeins that is?

Ummmm.....88.  Yeah.  "Hello, my name is Caryn, and I'm a Koiguaholic".  That's 88 stash skeins, not including the skeins set aside for the Fiesta Vest and Koigu Shrug (which is stalled because it's kinda boring and all the same color).  That's also 88 skeins collected over 4 years...can you see I'm trying to rationalize this?  I picked out my 14 skeins for Tramonto:

I've started the shawl, but it's only about 5 rows long right now.  I started this new project because it seems lately that I'm in a bit of a slump...nothing interests me.  However, I can always be excited by Koigu.  Judging by the quick speed I finished my last Charlotte's Web (finished pics to come soon), this will probably be a project I can stick with!

So...my thoughts about Serenity.  It was the best movie I've seen, it was the worst movie I've seen.  Those of you who have seen the movie, know what I'm talking about.  There was no need.  None. I cried. :(
