Handmade Holidays
With Friday being the official start of the holiday shopping season, I have been thinking a lot about what I actually give. I think it's beginning to be more important to me to give meaningful gifts, and not just gifts for gifts sake. This year I am knitting some gifts, and actually got a head start, so I hope to have all my intended projects done this year. What I can't/don't make, I will try to buy handmade. Handmade truly is the best, and it's even better if you buy it directly from the artist. My two big venues for buying handmade are Etsy.com (of course) and the No Coast Craft-O-Rama, which is happening next weekend at the Midtown Global Market in Minneapolis.
I won't be blogging about my holiday gifts because all recipients read this here blog, but you can follow along with me on Ravelry if you have an account...I am FuzzyNoodleKnits (I don't have anything up just yet...but hope to soon. I turned in my big architectural drawing in last night, so I have some free time again to update things).
