S'more Sock
I've finished a pair of socks, but not a matching pair...
That's a Broadripple on the left, and a double short row heel sock on the right. I liked how the double short row heel sock turned out, but I don't like the pointy toe (where you cut your yarn and pull it through remaining live sts). So, I decided to try another toe up sock, using this toe technique and the same short row heel as the sock on the right.
I very much like this toe...it is quite easy to do, and is practically seamless. Here is the outside of the toe, and here is the inside. I used knitting into the front and the back as my increase, and I think it looks pretty good...no holes or anything! Actually, I took these pics on Friday, and I am 1" done from finishing the sock. Pretty cool!

I agree I don't like the pointy toe, I'll be interested to see the outcome of this sock.

Caryn, I almost shed a tear when I saw the name of your beautiful sock on the left. I just recently moved from Indianapolis which is home of Broadripple and I miss it so much! And, by the way, I am so impressed with your socks!
